Mission

River Forest  Youth Soccer (RFYS) is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide soccer opportunities to children who live or attend school in River Forest.  RFYS is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as Board members and coaches.

RFYS is affiliated with IYSA, Illinois Youth Soccer Association. We are not an AYSO organization.

Like all organizations that use River Forest fields, RFYS is a Park District of River Forest member affiliate, but our members do not serve as employees, volunteers or agents of the Park District.  However, we use the Park District fields for our soccer games.  While in the past, the Park District did not charge RFYS to use the River Forest fields, they now do.  We pay a $ 15.00 head fee per player to the Park District as well as additional costs for Keystone lights, goals and advertisements in their brochures.  Those costs are included in your registration fees. 

We are a 501(c)(3) organization registered with the IRS and the State of Illinois.
